Cybersecurity has always been a part of my working life and now something that I'm turning my attention to in a dedicated capacity, particularly in the cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance (GRC) domain. This draws on my cross-functional technical and management experience to help organisations of all sizes align cybersecurity with business Ongoing learning has seen me recently earn my masters' degree in cybersecurity and selected industry certifications. This has helped align my experience (including application/web development, networks and cloud infrastructure) with government and industry best practices for cybersecurity. A particular focus in this time, has been on the GRC domain and cybersecurity risk management, and currently I am finalising studies with ISACA for CISM and CRISC certification. I am passionate about being a trusted advisor to my clients, and care about providing solutions that are mutually beneficial, fit for purpose and cost-effective. Now moving back into a contributory role, I will still bring that same business focus - along with my technical experience - to help organisations improve the security and resiliency of their systems, business operations and people.
